Cash withdrawal limit for UnionPay cards#

UnionPay cards issued in China have a daily cash withdrawal limit of no more than the equivalent of 10,000 Chinese yuan in foreign currency when used overseas.

Starting from 2018, the total cumulative amount of cash withdrawals from overseas ATMs using all UnionPay cards under one person's name in a natural calendar year must not exceed the equivalent of 100,000 Chinese yuan in foreign currency. If this limit is exceeded, the ability to make overseas cash withdrawals using UnionPay cards will be frozen for the current year and the following year.
